Pt. 3!!!

Chrono Crusade!

The anime starts off with Sister Rosette saving little Azmaria  from an embarrassing Christmas pageant rehearsal with the other Sisters to head off to a meeting with Sister Kate and Father Ewan. There with Chrono they learn of news that 3 agents have died in SFO from investigations into Aion which leads them to believe something important is going to happen on the west coast or it has already started.

This of course leads Sister Rosette to beg that they send her to SFO in the hope of finding a lead to her brother Joshua. After a heated debate with Sister Kate, she is finally allowed to go to SFO. She is in such a hurry to leave that she doesn’t realize that everyone is actually sad about her going and on top of it she is leaving before Christmas. Father Ewan asks her to stay for at least Christmas and after seeing the teary eyes of the other Sisters and the ok from Chrono, she decides to stay for Christmas which makes everyone happy. Except for Azmaria who reflects on her past Christmas memories all of which are not happy ones.

Chrono, Rosette and Azmaria are sent into the city to try and get Christmas donations which of course leads to Rosette making an ass of herself like usual and embarrassing everyone else lol. She actually ends up cornering people and in a polite way forcing them to cough up cash. There she runs into Satella who turns out to be filthy rich and donates a wad of cash!

Azmaria  shortly after springs on the group that she does/doesn’t believe in Santa and that he never visited because she was told she was bad. This shocks everyone and they tell her there is no way she is or was bad. Azmaria realizes at that moment that she has people that care about her she needs to buy gifts for this year! Never having had people to get gifts for she is clueless on where to start. She asks the Sisters for assistance and they get her, well, nowhere! She finally decides to go window shopping in the city to find her gifts.

In the process of her buying a present she had being eyeing for some time for Rosette, she ends up preforming a good deed much to the surprise of the shop owner. Afterwards she runs into Rosette and Chrono who are out delivering toys to the kids in town. During this she starts to realize what Christmas really means.

The best part of this episode is the end where everyone throws Azmaria  a surprise Christmas party with a huge banquet to show they care. Awww! So cute! :c)

Count Down To New Years W Anime (#1)!!!

Happy New Year! I figured that I would pick my favorite episode for the final Count Down To New Years W Anime! I hope that everyone is having a fun, safe and happy new year tonight!!! Also I want to thank everyone to getting me at my goal for the end of the year with over 1000 hits! THANK YOU!

Fruits Basket

Eps 9  “A Solitary New Year”

Its the last day of the year and everyone is doing the annual new years cleaning at the house. Kyo and Yuki are fighting like usual and the girls are also over to the house to help. Once again Shigure is under the gun from his editor to comeplte his latest book that is due by new years. While he is trying to avoid his editor, he ends up breaking the screen door. Again! Meanwhile during the craziness and fixing the screen, Tohru is planning the new years dinner of traditional soba noodles and new years cake. Arisa reminds her that she might want to get to the store to buy what she needs before its too late. Yuki ends up going with her and breaking the news that they wont be home for new years. :c( Instead they will be at the head house since its a family tradition that all family members gather at new years to celebrate.

Tohru hides her disappointment that the boys not being home on the way back from the store. Once they arrive home Shigure is doing everything he can to avoid writing while at the same time pissing his agent off to no ends! Also Saki, who has some strange obsession with cleaning the bathrooms, has left them ummmm… girli-fied shall we say. This of course makes the boys choose to hold it instead of going to the bathroom with all the roses and black lace that she left behind.

Saki finds out that the boys wont be  home for new years leaving Tohru home alone. Later, when Shigure trys to get the boys ready to leave for the main house, neither want to go for some reason or another. He ends up trying to get Tohru’s help by explaining the meaning of new years at the main house including the zodiac banquet. Yuki ends up explaining despite his personal reservation against his family, he doesnt want to leave Tohru alone and it only dawns on Kyo then that they would be leaving her alone for the new year. Tohru realizes the importance of the night to the Soma family and encourages them to go. On the way to the head house Saki runs into the boys and trys to guilt them into going back and staying with Tohru. She was able to succeed and the boys race off to make sure that Tohru was ok. When they arrive home they see that Tohru had been crying and realize that they had made the right decision in returning. Shigure ends up having to explain to Akito that the boys will not be present for new years. This does not please Akito at all. Back at the house Tohru, Kyo and Yuki are on top the house ready to make their new years wish with the first rays of light from the rising sun of the new year.

I swear this episode always brings a tear to my eye!

The 12 Anime Days Of Christmas cont’d!!! (12)

Yay! Its the last day for The 12 Anime Days Of Christmas! I do have to say that I am proud of myself for sticking with it and doing a post each day. Yaaaay me!!! Granted I might have cheated a bit and wrote a few at a time but that still counts right?!?

Honey and Clover

Season 1, Eps 4 “Actually, I don’t like Christmas all that much… … / The boy and girl are swayed”

Takumi struggles with his feelings for Rika and his growing feelings for Ayumi. He later finds out that she is going out with Shūji.  Hagu also struggling with what everyone is expecting of her as an artist. Shinobu decides to invite everyone to a Christmas party which promps Yūta and Hagu to go out shopping where Hagu finds out Yūta basically hates the holiday.

While everyone is having a blast, acting like idiots and drinking their heads off, Takumi meets up outside the party with Shūji to find out where Rika is since he couldn’t get ahold of her. Shūji tells him that is off visiting her husband’s gave. (that whole arc is sooooo freakin sad!) Takumi and Shūji end up joining everyone back at the party but Takumi still has a cloud over him. The end of the night comes and Shūji takes everyone home leaving Takumi and Shinobu alone with Yūta passed the hell out. This is one of the times  that Shinobu actually acts like an adult and not a total dumbass when he ask Takumi to drink with him knowing that he is having a hard time. Awwwww….

Eps 9 “Did she notice? Why is it that I don’t tell her? / That brooch was so heavy”

Shinobu being the sly dog that he is and still not being honest with himself about his feelings for Hagu, makes her this cute little brooch and leaves it for her with out saying it really was from him. This sets Yūta on a jealous spiral on if he should or shouldn’t tell Hagu that Shinobu was the one that left it for her. Ayumi also tells Takumi that she loves him and ened up creating the most akward moment ever between the two. Another random adult moment from Shinobu is when he helps Ayumi out this sticky situation.

Both Hagu and Yūta take on part time jobs for Christmas in the same district as where Ayumi’s shop is. Hagu ends up helping Ayumi in her shop while Yūta does deliveries. There is yet another Christmas party in this episode with the usual antics. Only this time its Yūta that is struggling with his feelings and still doesn’t know what to do about the brooch. Shinobu helps him with that by admitting he made it but lying that he didn’t make it for any reason. Like he made it because he liked her. Ass…

Eps 17 “What I don’t have is a destination… … / I don’t even know how I feel”

Takumi is no longer at the Fujiwara office which sends Miwako into a depression. This prompts her to her a massage chair. Yeah don’t know how that helps with her ‘depression’ but whatever floats your boat… Ayumi is also depressed over the numerous proposals from her childhood friends in the family’s shops neighborhood. She ends up finding a way to turn them all down while still telling them that they will always be a part of her live and she wished them the best. Poor guys! After all that Hagu and Ayumi once again are selling Christmas Cakes in front of her family’s shop.

The group once again has their Christmas party and once again Yūta is depressed over his life which he thinks is a failure. (Can you see a pattern in this episode? This is the norm for most people around the holidays so its refreshing to see someone actually show it.) Later Yūta is admitted to the hospital after collapsing at the party. He ends up getting admitted for an ulcer thanks to his depression and stress. He has realized that he does not have goal or direction in life which is not helping him when he has been going to job interviews. He was even so depressed that his destroyed his art exhibit upsetting everyone around him even the odd old men from the school.

While at the hospital Yūta contemplates quitting school but changes his mind after talking with Mitsuko and Kazuo. This also gave him the courage to tell Hagu how he feels but is rudely interrupted when Shūji comes in with a handheld TV. As the group watches the TV the craziest thing happens! I wont tell you cause you need to see the episode and then see episode 18. So freakin funny!!!
