Where To Watch Anime!!!

Having watched a few animes I have come across a couple of awesome sites, and when I saw few I mean…

My Time Spent Watching Anime

via my personal anime list on MyAnimeList.net

Here is a list of sites that I have put together where you can watch anime. If you have a site that streams anime and you want me to add it to the list and it’s not going to jack up someones computer… then please comment below and I will check it out! :c)

  • My English Dub Anime playlist on Hulu. Check back frequently on this one since I am constantly adding to it.

  • Dub Happy is great place to catch up on subbed and dubbed anime. They are also one of the few sites to show the latest Bleach episodes as they are airing on Adult Swim.

  • Adult Swim on Cartoon Network  shows new episodes of Bleach and Durarara!! ever saturday night along with reruns of other anime such as FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist…

Netflix

  • Netflix has a great selection of anime on DVD and Instant. Alot are released on Instant as soon as they are on TV like East Of Eden.

CrunchyRoll

  • Crunchyroll is a great site to watch simulcast subbed anime and also has a extensive collection to watch online and via mobile device. Only catch on the mobile device is that to watch it via 3g or 4g you have to have a subscription. However if you can access wifi then you don’t need one!

Funimation

  • Funimation is also another great site to watch simulcast subbed anime. They have an extensive collection of  both subbed and dubbed anime. New changes have come over the site s a lot of the simulcast and fist run dubbed require a subscription now.

Crackle

  •  Crackle is a great place to watch older TV shows, movies and older anime. They dont have simulcast or new releases but they still have anime that you can watch online and via mobile device.

NicoNicoJP

  •  Nico Nico Douga JP is a Japanese site for interactive video/tv watching. Basically you can sign up to watch a live broadcast of a show with over a hundred other people. During the show people can comment with each on it OVER the video while it is playing! (The comments are streaming live over the actual video so if I was like ‘this is awesome’ and hit enter within a sec I would see that scroll across the screen.) I have watched a few live concerts there were in Japan this way and its fun! You also have the option to turn off the comments and watch the show by its self. If you miss a live show/simulcast you can watch it later from the video library. Some parts of the site and some shows you need Nico points to view which you can purchase through the site. If you get a chance check the site out just remeber that it is in Japanese so either have a good translator program to translate the pages or know Japanese to be able to navigate!

Nico Nico Beta

  • Nico Nico Beta is the beta English site for the same program as Nico Nico Douga JP. This site has a separate anime page that you can go to see all the live streaming, simulcast and episode specials that they currently have and also access the anime library. Currently they are just starting the Guilty Crown and Last Exile: Fam, Silver Wing.

Anime Season

  •  As suggested by a reader (yay people are reading my blog lol!) Anime Season is a great site with an extensive library of anime  along with a list of ongoing series that they are showing without pop-ups! Cause we HATE pop-ups! Only down fall is that some of the shows are broken up into parts but its not too crazy like only 2 or 3 so it really is not bad at all.

***Please comment below if you have a site you wanted added!!!***

For subbed anime, you should really consider adding Crunchyroll to the list.

Not only is it good, but it is a legal way to watch anime that is currently being aired in Japan.

I think http://www.animeseason.com is a good place to watch anime too. 🙂 They don’t have pop-ups and not much ads. ^_^

theres three that i use three times a week. bleachget.com narutoget.com and watchop.com the only issue with these sites is that they are dedicated to 1 anime only. but the up side is you get a brandnew episode the same day japan gets it.
